Crime Stoppers Award for recent Vandalisms

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in recent vandalisms to vehicle windows by the use of BB/Pellet Guns. We ask the citizens to remain vigilant in reporting any suspicious activity. Deputies have responded to numerous reports over the past couple of days, including 20 cases beginning around 10pm on January 9th, 2019.

The vandalisms are occurring in the county as well as in the city of Topeka. We have seen an increased number of cases in the Montara Subdivisions as well as the area of SE 29th/Croco Rd.

Shawnee County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the recent criminal damage/vandalism cases. Shawnee County Crime Stoppers can be reached at 785-234-0007.

Let’s make Topeka the Safest Capital City in America.
