As part of Sheriff Brian Hill’s initiative to focus on reducing burglaries in Shawnee County, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office is introducing the ‘Eyes on Crime’ program.

This program involves building a database of camera systems to allow patrol deputies and detectives additional resources when investigating crimes.

Registering cameras is voluntary. Home owners are not required to share footage at our request. The Sheriff’s Office does not have the ability to access cameras.

Email the following information:

• Homeowner/Business Name
• Address
• Location/Direction of Camera
• Type of Camera System
• Length of time video footage is stored
